Do you know “the Viking”, an awesome Alpine Roller Coaster in Quebec?

Are you a fanatic of extreme rides? Or do you prefer relaxing activities? You don’t have to choose one, you can get a combination of both of them in “the Viking”.

The Viking is an Alpine Roller Coaster ubicated only 90 minutes away from Montreal, in Mont-Saint-Sauveur. This is the only roller coaster of its kind in Quebec. The best thing about this ride is that you can control the speed (up to 35 km/h) and it allows you to ride down the mountain alone or with someone.

This rollercoaster has something special during the winter time because you will be going down 1.5 km of forest with pine trees covered in snow allowing you to admire the beauty of the landscape as you enjoy this little thrill.

The Viking opened for the first time in 2009. It’s important to say that this ride is open until May 17th from 11am to 4pm.

If you can’t go during the winter time, the forest landscape is also beautiful in another time of the year.

Yet another incredible thing about it is that it’s not as expensive as you think. You will be able to get a discount with the purchase of 2 or more, or if you combine it with the purchase of a ski ticket. One ticket will cost you 12.99CAD, but as we mentioned if you purchase 2 or more tickets or if you combine it, it will cost you 8.99CAD.

Visit this ride, enjoy an amazing landscape and live a different experience. Quebec is big and it has plenty of activities, however; each of them are different and we consider this is a unique one.
